Dr Preethi Eldi

MBBS, MSc, PhD Lead Scientist – SCV-PHAV Programme

Dr Preethi Eldi is a research-scientist and immunologist with deep expertise in viral immunology, vaccine design and immune modulation. She holds an MBBS, a Master’s in Molecular Biology, and a PhD from the Australian National University, where her doctoral research focused on immune responses to poxviruses. As a Senior Research Fellow at Adelaide university, Preethi is part of the long-standing collaboration that underpins Sementis’ science and has helped advance the Sementis Copenhagen Vector (SCV) vaccine platform from research into real-world development.

At Sementis, Preethi is the Lead Scientist for SCV-PHAV, the company’s lead peanut allergy therapeutic vaccine program. She has overseen key preclinical evaluation and supported the generation of preclinical and human ex vivo evidence for the approach—bringing together immunology, molecular allergy and vaccine engineering. Going forward, Preethi will continue to lead the scientific direction for SCV-PHAV as it is refined and progressed toward clinical development readiness, while also helping extend the SCV approach into a broader pipeline of allergy vaccines.
