Toni Nesci is a biopharmaceutical leader with more than 25 years’ experience delivering complex development programs and new product launches in Australia and the U.S. As Sementis Development Lead, she executes R&D strategy and ensures alignment across scientific, technical, and commercial objectives as the company advances its vaccine platform toward clinical readiness.
Toni’s background includes senior leadership at Hospira (now Pfizer), overseeing biosimilar development and launching new products for Pfizer’s Global Established Pharmaceuticals. She led go-to-market excellence and strategic planning for global commercialization.
Returning to Australia, she held senior roles at Mayne Pharma and IDT, managing business development, program management, and commercial operations. Her ability to build service organizations and lead teams supports disciplined execution and strategic clarity.
With expertise in product development, manufacturing, commercialization, and global program leadership, Toni ensures Sementis’ R&D programs advance with quality and commercial relevance toward first-in-human clinical studies.
